Peri Valley: the line the water cut
The Peri Valley Collection is built on valley topography: the cross-section, the line of the watercourse and the contour lines are engraved into the surface.
A mountain is described by its outline; a valley by its section. What defines a valley is not height but the line the water cut, and the most honest way to show that line is a contour.
Contours are a strange thing to put on an object, because they are not a picture of anything — they are a measurement. That is exactly why they work here. They describe the place without dressing it up.
