Selected objects can be engraved with a place name, a coordinate, a date or a name. Nothing is produced until you have seen the artwork and approved it.
The reason we engrave coordinates rather than place names is simple. A place name can change, and it can mean different things to different people. A coordinate does not move. It is the plainest and most exact record you can put on an object.
People usually bring us one of three things: the village they were born in, two cities they live between, or a single date. All three work.
